Loperamide
Loperamide is an antidiarrhoeal (antidiarrheal) treatment used to control acute (sudden) diarrhoea it works by slowing the movement of bowel content so you can get on with your day. Diarrhoea is usually caused by a viral or bacterial infection, food poisoning or foreign travel. This product is a generic medicine with the same active ingredients as Imodium and Diocalm. 2mg Loperamide capsules are for the relief of sudden diarrhoea (diarrhea) and help limit trips to the toilet.
